IL PROGETTO
Il progetto “MareArte” nasce da un’idea dall’artista Diego Racconi e si struttura come una raccolta di piccole opere artistiche dedicate al mare, realizzate da differenti autori dislocati in diverse parti del mondo. La collezione si è costituita nel tempo attraverso un invito nel circuito internazionale della MAIL ART, una chiamata alla quale hanno risposto e aderito numerosi creativi di diversi paesi e nazionalità, inviando e donando lavori estremamente vari sia per soggetti che per dimensioni e tecnica.
I lavori raccolti sono stati proposti in una esposizione itinerante organizzata con la collaborazione di musei, enti, aziende del settore e circoli nautici che hanno condiviso lo spirito dell'iniziativa, facendosene promotori per la diffusione sul proprio territorio. Le opere sono state inoltre pubblicate su un catalogo cartaceo stampato grazie al contributo del museo MAS [Museo delle Attività Subaquee di Marina di Ravenna], inserito negli archivi di diverse biblioteche pubbliche e private. Attraverso la vendita delle opere pervenute, donate dai diversi artisti, si realizza inoltre un’attività di charity per il mare, per un aiuto concreto ad associazioni ambientaliste esterne che si prodigano per la salvaguardia degli oceani e dei loro abitanti. La raccolta delle opere prosegue nel tempo, ampliando la collezione e andando a costituire un archivio con opere varie e diversificate per stile e tecnica.
Recentemente l'artista ha deciso di dare al progetto un risvolto culturale, oltre che artistico, scrivendo la fiaba per bambini "Salviamo il Mare!", per sensibilizzare le giovani generazioni al rispetto del mondo sommerso e dei suoi abitanti. Il racconto è liberamente scaricabile dal sito web ed è fruibile da insegnanti e animatori come strumento per coinvolgere i bambini in attività creative ispirate alla fiaba.
The “MareArte” project was born from an idea by the artist Diego Racconi and is structured as a collection of small artistic works dedicated to the sea, created by different authors located in different parts of the world. The collection of artistic works was formed over time through an invitation on the international MAIL ART circuit, a call to which numerous creatives from different countries and nationalities responded and joined, sending and donating works inspired by the story, extremely varied both in terms of subjects, dimensions and technique.
The collected works were presented in a traveling exhibition organized with the collaboration of museums, institutions, companies in the sector and nautical clubs who shared the spirit of the initiative, acting as promoters for its diffusion in their territory. The works were also published in a paper catalog printed thanks to the contribution of the MAS museum [Museum of Underwater Activities of Marina di Ravenna], included in the archives of various public and private libraries. The world freediving champion Alessia Zecchini also participated in the initiative, with one of her drawings donated to the Cetacea Foundation of Riccione.
The project is also related to a charity activity, through the sale of the artwork received, to support external associations that do their utmost to safeguard and protect the oceans and their inhabitants.
Recently the artist decided to give the project a cultural, as well as artistic, twist, writing the children's fairy tale "Let's Save the Sea!", to raise awareness among young generations of respect for the underwater world and its inhabitants. The story can be freely downloaded from the website and can be used by teachers and entertainers as a tool for involving children in creative activities inspired by the fairy tale.

parteciped in the "MareArte" project, by donating your own drawing to charity.
L'iniziativa “MareArte” si ricollega ai diversi obiettivi dedicati all’ambiente dell’Agenda dello Sviluppo Sostenibile 2030 e al Decennio della cultura del Mare 2030 ed è stata proposta nel tempo in contesti diversi, ottenendo il patrocinio di numerose istituzioni. E’ stata ospite presso il MAS ( Museo Attività Subaquee di Marina di Ravenna, con il patrocinio della Città di Ravenna), presentata sia nel palinsesto del Festival Nazionale ASVIS 2022 dello Sviluppo Sostenibile che nella Milano Green Week , in occasione della mostra diffusa organizzata presso l’Idroscalo di Milano, patrocinata dal Comune di Milano, dalla Lega Navale di Milano e dalla ANMI Associazione Marinai d’Italia. La mostra è stata nel tempo ospitata in diverse location istituzionali in un percorso itinerante : durante BARCOLANA 55 a Trieste ospite di una libreria ed inserita nel palinsesto ufficiale della manifestazione, presso il Jonian Dolphin Conservation – Ketòs (Centro Euromediterraneo del mare e dei Cetacei) di Taranto, presso Area Marina Protetta del Plemmirio (Ortigia – Siracusa) e in alcune biblioteche, con il patrocinio del comune di Milano. L’iniziativa è inoltre stata supportata ed ospitata nel tempo dalla sede dell’Associazione Cetacea di Riccione, centro di recupero delle tartarughe marine, dal MBL - Museo Barca Lariana sul lago di Como, dalla manifestazione Sealogy sulla Blu economy presso la fiera di Ferrara, durante la Settimana della Cultura del Mare a Gallipoli (LC), presso la Milano Green Forum a MICO – Milano Congress Centre Fiera.
